About the Tech Frame design
Tech Frame is precise hardware. A machined frame runs around the wheel, held together by bolted brackets at intervals, with frame ticks marking the edge like measurement notches. Behind the slots, a circuit plate carries thin traces in a circuit pattern, less dense than a full circuit board so the icons stay clear. When a weapon is selected, scanlines run across its slot in the accent color. The weapon name and attachment sit in the center above the 3D center mark. It feels like the housing of a piece of military electronics: functional, technical and tidy. It is a good middle ground for servers that like sci-fi but want a calm HUD.
Pairing it with your minimap
Tech Frame pairs with sci-fi and PvP minimaps that use clean lines. Red ops matches a black map with red markers. Cyan suits dark tech maps with cyan roads, Amber works with retro orange displays, Lime fits bright green hacker maps, and Stealth stays dark grey for minimal HUDs. The frame and plate have their own color controls, so you can match the frame to your map's border and the plate to its background. That gives a very close pairing without changing the design's character.

How is Tech Frame different from Board?
Board is a full printed circuit board with solder mask, copper and gold pads. Tech Frame puts a lighter circuit plate inside a machined frame with bolted brackets. Board is more decorative, Tech Frame cleaner and more suited to PvP.
Can I change the frame and plate colors separately?
Yes. Accent, frame, details and plate all have separate color controls, plus icons and text. That lets you match the frame to your minimap's border and the plate to its background for a close pairing.
Can I remove the circuit traces?
Circuit traces, circuit pattern, frame ticks and selection scanlines are all adjustable. With the traces off, Tech Frame becomes a clean machined frame over a plain plate, a good choice next to a busy minimap.
