About the Reactor design

Reactor treats the weapon wheel as the core of a machine. The eight slots sit in a thick machined ring, separated by recessed conduits that carry a thin accent line around the wheel. Capacitor blocks are set into the chassis at intervals, and index marks around the rim give it the look of an engineered part with real tolerances. The shell has a light polish so the metal catches some light without turning shiny. When you select a weapon, its slot fills with the accent color, as if power has been routed into that chamber. The center hub holds the weapon name and attachment above the 3D center mark. It is sci-fi, but grounded, more power plant than space opera.

Pairing it with your minimap

Because Reactor is mostly dark metal with one accent line, it pairs easily with sci-fi and cyber minimaps. Use Coolant with a dark map that has cyan or teal roads, and the conduits on the wheel will read as an extension of the map lines. Amber core suits industrial or post-apocalyptic maps in orange and brown, Reactor red works with alert-style red maps, Isotope green matches toxic or zombie outbreak themes, and Graphite keeps everything grey for a minimal tech HUD.

Reactor weapon wheel FAQ

Is Reactor too futuristic for a normal RP server?

It depends on the palette. Graphite and Amber core read more like industrial machinery than science fiction, and they sit comfortably on a city RP server with a dark minimap. Coolant and Isotope push it toward cyber and sci-fi.

What does the accent line do?

The accent line runs through the recessed conduits and ties the wheel together visually. It is also the easiest element to match with your minimap roads. You can turn it off in the studio if you want a heavier, all-metal look.

Which minimap works with the Isotope palette?

A dark map with green roads or a toxic outbreak theme. The green accent on the conduits and selection repeats the map lines, so a zombie or hazard server gets one consistent HUD color that players learn to follow.
