About the Orbit design

Orbit arranges the weapons like a small solar system. Each slot is a round tile floating on a thin orbit ring, with a rim around each tile like the edge of a planet. Small satellites sit on the ring between the tiles. The center is open, with only the weapon name and attachment above the 3D center mark, so the wheel feels light and airy. When a weapon is selected, its tile glows in the accent color, like a planet catching the sun. The tiles have their own color, separate from the orbit ring and the accent, so you can tune the look precisely.

Pairing it with your minimap

Orbit pairs with minimal and sci-fi minimaps. Lunar is grey and white for monochrome HUDs, Mars brings a rusty red-orange for maps with warm roads, Neptune is deep blue for navy maps, Nebula uses purple for synth and space themes, and Terra is green and blue for natural maps. Because it is so light, Orbit works best next to a flat map. Set the orbit ring to your map's road color and the tile rims to its labels for a clean match.

Orbit weapon wheel FAQ

Can I remove the satellites?

Yes. Satellites and tile rim are adjustable effects. Without satellites, Orbit becomes a cleaner ring of floating tiles, which works well next to a busy minimap or on servers that want a very light HUD.

Is Orbit only for space themed servers?

No. Lunar and Neptune are neutral enough for any server that likes a light, modern HUD. The planet idea is there, but it reads mostly as clean floating tiles on a ring. Nebula and Mars lean more into the space theme.

How is Orbit different from Halo?

Halo uses pill-shaped slots on a hairline ring with a selection lift. Orbit uses round planet tiles with satellites on the ring. Halo feels like premium UI, Orbit is a little more playful and themed.
