What buying a map here gets you

A finished resource for your server, bought once. There is no subscription, no per-slot fee and no expiry. The design stays in your dashboard, so you can download it again after a server wipe, a host migration or a lost hard drive without paying for it a second time.

Editing later is charged per element rather than per map: reopening a design and changing the logo or the server name costs $1.00 for each element you change, and the map itself is not re-bought. That is the mechanism that makes a rebrand cheap and it is deliberate.

Every tenth account that registers gets a base map at no cost, and that map is a real one from the collection rather than a watermarked sample.

Questions worth asking about any map

Who drew it, and did they have the right to. A lot of the packs circulating for FiveM are recoloured copies of somebody else's work, sometimes two or three times removed, and the person who uploaded it is frequently not the person who made it.

What happens if you want it changed. If the pack ships only as finished textures, the answer is nothing — you cannot move a baked postal number or remove a district name without repainting that part of the image, and nobody has the source.

Whether you are allowed to redistribute it. Handing a map to a friend running another server, bundling it into a server base you sell or give away, or including it in a pack are all redistribution, and most licences that exist do not permit it. If in doubt about anything you bought here, ask before you do it rather than after.

And whether there is anybody to ask at all. A forum account that last posted in 2021 is not support.

Leaked and reuploaded packs

They are easy to find and they are the most expensive free thing on this list. The practical problems come first: leaked packs are frozen at whatever version was taken, so no fixes, no support and no way to get a variant; they are frequently repackaged with files missing or altered; and you have no idea what else is in the folder you just gave your server.

Then there is the part that is simply true regardless of how anybody feels about it — somebody made that, and a server that runs on other people's work while asking players for donations is a position that does not survive being pointed at in public. It is also a real risk on a server that takes money, because a takedown against your store is not a hypothetical.

If money is the constraint, take a genuinely free map. There are good ones, and they cost you the things listed on the free-map page rather than these.

Practical situations

You hand the server to a developer: fine, that is your server. The map goes where your resources go, and your dashboard stays yours.

You move host or rebuild the server: also fine. Re-download the same resource and install it again; nothing is tied to a machine, an IP or a licence key.

You rebrand: reopen the design, change the wordmark and logo, pay per element, re-render. The base map is already paid for.

You close the server: nothing happens. Keeping a map you paid for is not conditional on the server existing, and if you start something else later it is still in the dashboard.

What is not included

Reselling, redistributing or bundling the map into something you hand on to other people is a different thing from running it on your server, and it is not what the price covers. Nor is using the artwork as a product in its own right — a map rendered into a merchandise print or a paid asset pack is not a server install.

None of that is unusual and none of it is meant to be a trap. If you have a case that is not obviously one or the other, the answer is a message rather than a guess.
