About the Stencil design

Stencil looks like something a crew cut out and sprayed. The wheel is a matte concrete plate with visible grit, and the slot ring is cut through it like a paint stencil, complete with the small bridges that keep a real stencil from falling apart. Around the outside, the paint has a soft sprayed edge where it bled past the template. Stamps sit in the corners of the plate, and a surface pattern adds wear across the concrete. The selected slot fills with spray paint in the accent color. The weapon name and attachment stay readable in the center above the 3D center mark. It is rough on purpose, but the slots and numbers are laid out as cleanly as the stock wheel.

Pairing it with your minimap

Stencil belongs next to a gritty urban minimap: asphalt grey, concrete textures, or a desaturated city theme with one loud road color. Crew red is the default gang color and pairs with a grey map with red routes. Industrial works with yellow and black construction tones, Cold blue suits a night city map, Olive fits a rougher, military-leaning street theme, and Blackout is almost pure black and white for monochrome servers. Keep the map color count low; spray paint looks best when it is the only bright thing on the wall.

Stencil weapon wheel FAQ

Can I match Stencil to my gang's color?

Yes. Pick the closest palette, then set the paint color in the studio to your gang's exact color. The spray on the selected slot and the sprayed edge both use it, so the wheel carries your crew color every time someone opens it.

Does the concrete texture make icons harder to read?

The concrete is matte and fairly dark, so the white icons and ammo counts stay clear. If you want an even cleaner base, lower the concrete grit and surface pattern in the studio. Check it in the live preview over a bright scene.

What minimap pairs with the Blackout palette?

A black and white or heavily desaturated minimap. Blackout keeps the wheel in the same range, which gives street servers a stark, poster-like HUD where only the selected slot and your map route stand out.
