About the Cartel design
Cartel is flashy by design. The base carries a damask pattern, the repeating ornamental motif found on expensive wallpaper and fabric, with thin inlay hairlines tracing the slots in gold. A thick bullion rim wraps the outside, and polished cabochons, smooth rounded gemstones in jade by default, are set around it at intervals. The selected slot is marked with a crest in the accent color, like an engraved emblem on a custom pistol grip. In the center, the weapon name and attachment sit above the 3D center mark. It is ornate, heavy and unapologetic, and it looks exactly like what it is meant to be: money turned into decoration.
Pairing it with your minimap
Cartel pairs with dark, warm minimaps. A black or dark brown map with gold roads is the best match for Jade and gold. Blood money brings deep red for servers where the gang color is red, Platinum is silver for a colder look, Obsidian gold is almost all black with gold trim, and Desert gold uses sandy tones that match a desert or border-town map. Because the wheel is so ornate, keep the minimap simple and let the gold on both pieces be the common thread.

Cartel weapon wheel FAQ
How many cabochons are on the rim?
You choose. Cabochon count is an adjustable effect, along with the damask pattern, inlay hairlines and selection crest. Fewer stones give a cleaner rim, more stones make it richer. The cabochon color can also be changed in the studio.
Which Cartel palette fits a desert map?
Desert gold. It shifts the base and trim toward sand tones, which match desert, border town or Sandy Shores themed minimaps. Keep the text white for readability against the warmer background. Test it in a bright scene in the preview.
Is Cartel too ornate for a PvP server?
It is built for gang and crime RP rather than fast PvP. If you want the look but more clarity, lower the damask pattern and inlay hairlines. The gold rim stays, but the slots become much cleaner.
