About the Ember design

Ember is made of volcanic rock. Each slot is a plate of dark basalt with a rough crust grain, and thin seams of molten rock run between the plates in a crack pattern, as if the wheel has just cooled and split. The heat level controls how bright those seams burn, from a faint red line to a bright orange glow. A warm rim circles the outside, lit from below like the edge of a lava flow. When a weapon is selected, its plate warms up with the molten core color. The weapon name and attachment sit in the center above the 3D center mark. It is dark and heavy but never dull, because the glowing seams give it life.

Pairing it with your minimap

Ember pairs with dark minimaps that use warm accents. The Ember palette, orange on black, matches a dark map with orange or amber roads. Forge is a deeper red for maps with red routes, Cold forge swaps the heat for a blue-white glow that suits cold, icy maps, Toxic melt brings acid green for outbreak themes, and Ash turns the seams grey for a burned-out, post-apocalyptic look. Match the seam glow to your map's road color, and the cracks on the wheel will look like they continue the lines on your map.

Ember weapon wheel FAQ

Can I make the seams glow less?

Yes. Heat level controls how bright the seams burn. Crust grain, crack pattern and warm rim are also adjustable. A low heat level gives a subtle, smoldering look that sits calmly next to a detailed minimap, while a high level makes the cracks bright.

Is Ember only for fire themed servers?

No. In the Ember palette it simply reads as a dark wheel with a warm orange accent, which fits any server with an orange or amber HUD. Cold forge and Toxic melt shift it to blue or green for other themes.

Which minimap matches Cold forge?

A dark map with icy blue or white roads. Cold forge replaces the orange heat with a cold blue-white glow, so the basalt looks frozen rather than molten. It pairs well with winter or night-heavy minimaps.
